We wanted to highlight some shoe-related fashion blog postings that deserve your attention. Patricia from Luxual Boutique pointed out a pair of Altbotte Louboutin boots. As pointed out in review by The Shoe Goddess, these sky high 6-inch leather platform boots, the striking appeal of these boots may be offset by the wear-ability factor. An interesting poll revealed that only 32% of501 respondents would wear such a dramatically high heel.

In another one of our favorite shoe blog reads, Frederique aka Miss Glitzy of The Glitz Project did some amazing shoe legend research. Miss Glitzy posted a series of Personal Museum articles on of which focused on an American shoe dynasty called the House of Miller. This design house spanned three generations, expanded up to sixteen stores, and retained legendary designers like David Evins. David who designed shoes for Hollywood stars such as Ava Gardner, Judy Garland, president wifes and even the shoes for Grace Kelly’s wedding with Prince Rainier.

Another one of our blogger friends, Lyndsay Cabildo, who loves to write about fashion trends recently released a post on Fringe Shoes for 2009 that you will find to be very intriguing.

Apparently, 10-time Grammy award winning rapper, Kanye West is creating some buzz by in his recent attempts to diversify his career by branching out into the fashion design world. As reported by Shoe Minx, proclaiming himself as the “Louis Vuitton Don”, Kanye is collaborating on a line of men’s footwear for LV which will be available in their stores in June. LV Creative Director is impressed by Kanye’s ambition pointing out that “I think Kanye goes to the office more than I do. He’s really, really into sneakers.” Kayne was so serious about his new career move into fashion design that he is reported to be moving to London to apply for work at Louis Vuitton’s headquarters.
Kayne’s fashion flair has not gone unrecognized. As featured by Miriam from Hip Hop News and Gossip Magazine, Drew Reports, Kayne ranked fourth in the the Samsung Fun Cluc Top 10 Most Fashionable Urban Music List. Noting his blend of street/preppy/couture style, he undoubtedly is making a unique statement which could bode well for his new career pursuits.

Those Louboutin boots are gorgeous and sexy. Women may shy away from wearing them due to comfort or price, but if you were brave enough to slip them on you would certainly be eye-catching.
